"Learn to Meditate" provides a context for understanding the definition of meditation, the effects on the mind and body, along with a direct and personal experience of meditation. This workshop is designed for the beginner; however, experienced meditators are welcome! The class is lead into a group meditation, and various techniques are presented to help prepare for a relaxing meditative experience. Suggestions for daily practices are offered, along with discussion on the effects of everyday life. Class time includes individual sharing of experiences and Q&A.
